Chloe was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion in Paris from her simple, Aghion developed body-skimming, alluring designs that were a striking contrast to the prim, reserved ensembles of her day.
The popularity of the initial designs allowed the Chloe Company to continue to grow, and the designs became more widely available in other countries. Today the collections include designer purses, accessories, and shoes as well as clothing.
